Salary: $110K (negotiable)

Job Description:

  • Coordinate the execution of audits performed by our clients, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and regulatory/government agencies (OIG, GAO, DOI)
  • Working with the Business Owners and the Auditors to
    • Determine the appropriate scope, timing and logistics of the audits
    • Review and interpret audit requirements
    • Prepare audit requests as required
    • Monitor audit progress and resolve potential findings as appropriate
    • Validate and respond to audit findings
    • Develop and monitor corrective actions
  • Develop a consistent audit process to ensure all outside audits are effectively managed
  • Perform monitoring reviews to obtain assurance on compliance
  • Plan and executing operational and regulatory audits of various areas within the company
  • Analyze the root cause of issues and helping to develop appropriate action plans
  • Develop audit reports that accurately summarize the results of reviews
  • Assist with various projects as directed by the VP of Audit

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of Market Conduct examination/DOI expertise (i.e. state audits, market conduct exams, surveys and investigations)
  • 3+ years of experience in audit (operational, financial, and/or IT related)
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare regulatory environment  
  • 3+ years of experience with HIPAA, state and privacy laws
  • Strong project management skills
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously while meeting department productivity standards
  • Ability to interact with regulators and auditors to gain an understanding of audit requirements
  • Must work well under tight timelines and adapt to change in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Project Management experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience leading and implementing a comprehensive compliance program
  • Experience working with Healthplan, PBM or regulatory agency
  • Experience with Regulatory standards (federal, state, DOI)
  • Superior oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
